Last week was pretty exciting in our room! We grew bacteria from different locations around the room from hands, to the phone, even a belly button! Students created Post-It Note cells as groups to help learn where organelles are located within an animal or plant cell. We listened to the Cell Rap several times throughout the week to learn about the structure of the two cell types, the students loved it, and I have had it stuck in my head since Tuesday :) Friday Field Study was soggy but students had a lot of fun! We searched for compost naturally occurring in METRO. The students dug in, got dirty, and learned a lot about the differences in aerobic and anaerobic composting. I want to say a HUGE thanks to the volunteers that helped make FFS a success. Comments are closed.
